The National Police College of Jamaica graduated 23 participants from the 28th Command Course on Friday September 2, 2016.
The cohort consisted of 18 officers from the Jamaica Constabulary along with one member each from the Jamaica Defence Force, Jamaica Customs, Jamaica Fire Brigade, Passport Immigration and Citizens Agency, Department of Correctional Services and the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service
Dr Fritz Pinnock, Executive Director of the Caribbean Maritime Institute gave the key note address. In his brief address to the graduates, challenged them to develop the concept of servant leadership as they strive to provide quality leadership in their respective organizations.
Mr Glenmore Hinds, Deputy Commissioner of Police who represented the Commissioner of Police closed the course by encouraging the graduates to use the skills learnt on the course to provide better leadership and service to their organizations and citizens.
The top performer for the 28th Command Course was Deputy Superintendent of Police Bobette Morgan of the St Andrew Central Division.
