Curriculum Development and Coordination Department (CDCU)
The Curriculum Development and Coordination Unit (CDCU) is charged with ensuring that all training programs meet the specific needs of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF). The CDCU is responsible for monitoring and ensuring that training is delivered in strict accordance with the standards and guidelines set by the JCF, the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ), ISO 9001:2015, and the HEART NSTA Trust Quality Assurance Guidelines for training provision.
The unit leads and encourages innovation in course content, delivery methodologies, and instructor training. CDCU collaborates closely with subject matter experts and other relevant stakeholders to prepare, implement, monitor, evaluate, review, and quality assure all aspects of curriculum design and training delivery, ensuring continuous improvement and relevance to operational requirements.
