It is with profound sadness that the National Police College of Jamaica (NPCJ) announces the passing of our esteemed colleague, Uzander McFarlane, a dedicated member of the Department of Driver Training. Uzander passed away on June 12, 2024 after a brief illness.
Uzander McFarlane was a valued and respected member of our team, known for his commitment to excellence, his unwavering dedication to his students, and his passion for teaching safe and effective driving techniques to our future law enforcement officers. His contributions to the Department of Driver Training have been instrumental in shaping the skills and professionalism of many officers who have passed through our college.
Throughout his tenure at NPCJ, Uzander was not only an exceptional instructor but also a mentor and friend to many. His warm personality, kind spirit, and willingness to go above and beyond in his duties will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of working with him.
